    Mostly paved route. A bit of ground/grass walking near the Visual Arts Centre. Start and end at the Bowmanville Mall.
    This route will take us along a walking path in a park-like treed setting. After passing the Visual Arts Centre, we will follow Simpson Ave turning right on to Baseline Rd, then Right onto Liberty St for about a block; next Right onto Parkway Cres; Left on Flett St., Right on Southway, Right on Simpson, Left onto Soper Crt. We pick up the path again at the end of Soper Crt. and retrace our steps back to the mall parking lot.
    This is mostly flat terrain. There is one hilly sidewalk right after we leave the mall parking lot and before we reach the walking path. Then there is a slight upward incline when we pass the Visual Arts Centre. Some of the streets don't have sidewalks, but there is little traffic (e.g Parkway).
    Coffee Time available at the mall, or nearby Bowmanville Family Restaurant or Wimpey's Diner.
