We are very excited to announce that plotaroute is now available as an app.
Our mobile app is available for free and can be installed without the need to visit an app store. Using a combination of storage on your device and real-time data from our servers, it provides fast and convenient full-screen access to all the features on our mobile site and is easily launched by a simple tap on the plotaroute icon.
To coincide with the launch of the app, we have also introduced brand new GPS tracking features to help you more easily follow a route using the app.
You can find out more about the app and how to install it by selecting Mobile App from the menus.
As we move towards the start of 2021, we'd like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your continued support and to wish you a happy and healthy Christmas and New Year. Stay safe.
Great news. Thanks.
Hi! Thank you for providing an app, very good move. I have a request though - toolbox icon in the bottom is cut-off partially because it is placed too low and iphone 12 screen is rounded. The whole bottom toolbar is placed too low - it is hard and uncomfortable pressing buttons. I have screenshots, not sure how to upload them.
Someone alive here?
I'm on Samsung Android and don't have the problem you see.
Good for you. On any modern iphone with rounded screen there is a problem. Also, bottom toolbar is placed too low - simply uncomfortable pressing buttons.
Thanks for the feedback Martynas. We don't have that model of iPhone here but it sounds like a bit of a limitation of the device if it cuts off the corners of full-screen apps. Does this happen with other apps too or if not how do they circumvent the issue? Would you be able to send a screenshot to us and we'll see if there is anythting we can do to help - you can do this via our Contact Us page?
Does this advice on this Apple discussion board help Martynas?
Thank you for advice, though it did not help - I have tried it firstly. I've sent you screenshot with some brief explanation via Contact Us page.
Thanks Martynas, we'll look into it and try to find a solution.
