This version of Whyxal Marina is the best anti-clockwise wise version, as it uses the best of the lanes and stays well away from Tallen Green route and Hanmar, which both have atrocious lanes. This route also exploits my favourite area of Wych. The lanes between Whyxall and Wych are all excellent. And of course the Marina is fab, probably one of the best at least equal to Audlum Marina.
This route is suited to a SW /S wind, but not so much if you reverse it to clockwise, due to the bit across the bottom and the long slow climb that you would have to get to Threapwood.
