Starting at the main Carpark head out towards the gate onto Bottoms reservoir … head along the chalky path taking the first gated entrance on your right which brings you to a path next to the waters edge. Stay on the path until you reach the dam, then turn right and continue over the dam following the path up to your right… up to the top and through the opening on your right and down the steps. Continue round the reservoir keeping the water on your right… through a wooded area until you reach the gate.. through the gate turning right over the dam back to the Carpark, bear left, past the cars and continue on the path always keeping the water to your left. Up a little incline and turn left at the top to follow the road. Past the farm and continue till you reach the dam crossing. Turn left, over the dam then take a right at the other side through the metal gate… follow the path all the way round and down to the next dam crossing… over the dam and take the turning on your left, through the big metal gates and down the zigzag… follow the road/path up the side of the reservoir until you see the dam again on your left .. continue over back to the carpark.. 🤗

    CALCULATE CALORIES

    About the Calorie Calculator

Our Calorie Calculator estimates how many Calories you will burn using Metabolic Equivalent (MET) values from Compendium of Physical Activities. The Compendium idenitifes the relative energy cost of undertaking various activities compared with doing nothing. We then combine this with your weight and the estimated duration of the activity, taking into account the length of the route and the hills involved, to estimate the total Calories burned.

When selecting an Activity setting, select the speed you would normally travel at on flat ground.

Please remember, the estimated number of Calories is just a guide and the actual number of Calories burned may vary depending on other factors such as weather and terrain.
