Starts near Moudon, CHMORE ROUTES NEAR HERE
Le départ est donné sur le parking de la gare de Moudon. Vous suivez ensuite les panneaux jaunes « tourisme pédestre » direction la Ville-Haute pour atteindre après 20 minutes d’une légère montée le château de Carrouge.
Il est maintenant temps de sortir de la zone bâtie pour se retrouver en pleine nature, avec un joli coup d’œil sur la ville. Cet itinéraire vous emmène rapidement dans la réserve forestière naturelle de Péquinsin.
Après environ 3.4 km de marche et quelques mètres de dénivelé, vous atteignez le charmant refuge de Beauregard, départ d’un parcours vita. Le panorama est magnifique.
Au premier plan, les champs s’étendent à perte de vue, puis une première rangée de montagnes s’élève au loin, juste avant les majestueuses Alpes dont certains reconnaîtront les pics les plus connus.
Vous poursuivez votre chemin et traversez les hameaux de Planchemont et Planche-Signal avant d’entamer une deuxième étape de la randonnée en zone forestière sur près de 5 km.
Rejoignez ensuite le tracé initial pour retrouver Moudon au terme de cette belle randonnée.
