    Walk from the Continental down Riverside and Broadgate on the Guildwheel to the Liverpool Road Bridge over the Ribble towards Penwortham, pausing at the wild flower meadow for mobilisations. Cross the river and turn left on the other side to walk down Holme Road between the Ribble and the playing fields. At the end cross Leyland Road and walk right a little to go down Valley Road, crossing the A59 foot bridge to continue up Valley Road to Hill Road. Turn right and just past the cemetery car park, take the right hand fork path off Hill Road. Continue on this through Hurst Grange to the point it meets the cycle path at a point. Following the cycle path left back to Hill Road, turn right and cross the A59 foot bridge. Curve right under the foot bridge, follow path until Leyland Road. Cross and move down to the old cobbled bridge to cross the Ribble back to Broadgate. Continue down Broadgate and Riverside towards the Continental and cool down just inside Miller Park.
