    The first part of the route is hilly; you can enjoy great views over the Marche’s hills and the Sibillini Mountains. From km 38, Piantipiega, we head to Fiastrone Gorge, one of Sibillini’s mountains most spectacular natural environments. Here the landscape changes rapidly, with mountain views and hairpin turns that go back up to Fiastra.

    From here you climb up again towards Bolognola: you can admire the main peaks of the Sibillini Mountains and the openings towards the Fiastrone and Fargnio valleys. Once arrived in Pintura you can enjoy the northern part of the Sibillini mountains with landscapes that rejeuvenate the soul. Continuing your tour, you reach the well-known Valico della Maddalena with the beautiful panorama over the Marche; here you can admire the Adriatic Sea , stretching from the Conero Riviera to San Benedetto del Tronto.

    Climbing down Sassotetto you quickly arrive at Sarnano; you cycle in the opposite direction for the famous Sarnano - Sassotetto climb, where several Tyrrhenian-Adriatic cycling races were run. This climb is also included in the list of the 10 most beautiful climbs in the Red Bull ranking.
