5k Walk

Start at DJR
Continue up Old Stadium Drive (Diggs Gallery on the right side) continue straight past the roundabout
Make RIGHT at Hill Hall continue straight until you reach Coumartie Street turning LEFT (you will past Carolina Hall and as you continue you will pass the alumni house on LEFT hand side of street).

Continue on Cromartie until you have passed Gaines Center, once passed Gaines turn right, you will then pass Whitaker gym.

Turn LEFT at Pegram Hall and proceed to clock tower, walk around tower and up Price Street. Make a RIGHT turn at the Alumni House (it will be facing you) this street takes you back to Cromartie (You are repeating this loop to Gaines, Whitaker Gym and Pegram Hall).

Once you get back to the Clock tower for those person just completing ½ the 5K, their walk concludes here. They will have walked ~1.8 miles so a little over half way). They can rest if need be, get water (water station here) and you can lead them back to DJR.

For those continuing to complete the 5K, they will proceed up Price Street making a LEFT turn in front of Carolina Hall. They will pass through the archway and turn LEFT at the Hauser Building.

Proceed towards Cromartie, make a LEFT onto Cromartie, at Corner make LEFT at MLK Dr. (Kenneth L. Williams auditorium will be on left hand side). At the end of the building make LEFT up the steps making your way back to towards Hill Hall (it will be on your left hand side) walk along the building and pathway until coming to the roundabout. Turn LEFT towards MLK on Bank Street. At MLK cross street to the other side of Bank Street. Turn LEFT on Old Stadium Dr. At the end of the building on right (RJ Reynolds Center) turn RIGHT and walk along the perimeter of entire parking lot, this will bring you back to DJR.
