    Directions! If you are starting in Manhattan, walk across the Williamsburg bridge, then go to the water and walk along the park, and then the bike path through Greenpoint, cross the Pulkaski Bridge, and then go towards the water towards the Queensbridge? park, then cut up and take the walking path over to Roosevelt island, go around roosevelt island (there is a huge walking loop), and then you can take the train back (10 miles) or return to queens making this longer. When you get to Roosevelt island you have to go down a set of stairs that isn't super logical just as an FYI

    Pros: Roosevelt Island! Queens!!Lots of shade, history, water stops, and bathrooms as well, can made longer shorter if you want to do a down or back or take the train back from Roosevelt island
    Cons: The bridge between queens and Brooklyn is kinda grim, safe but annoying and no shade
