    A low lying, non hilly short valley route starting from Compton Abbas.

    Directions-

    Come out of the drive and head right, then left down the woody lane. When you reach the bottom, turn right. You will then get to a sign saying 'Gore Glump' follow this footpath to the left which is called Watery Lane. Follow the path through the woods, out the little gate and keep following the path. Once you reach the 5 bar gate into a open sloping up field, go left along the fence line. At the end of the field turn left down the track, then take the path to your right through the woods. Once you reach the end follow the track until you reach the next 5 bar gate. Turn left up the cattle track, then left onto the lane and this will bring you back.

    There are of course many variations and other paths you can choose to take if you wish to explore further, the routes are endless! But please be sure to stick to the footpaths, pick up your dog poo, be aware of livestock and close any gates that you open. Leave nothing but a footprint.
