This one is aimed at Westerly and even NW winds and meeting CER, but a ride just for me, due to tired legs to be fair.
However, the route is also a winter one and allows for wet conditions hence, it avoids some of my favourite lanes and Whytegate way. It’s an easy flat-ish route aimed at tired legs to be fair, although there are plenty of small hills in this route and therefore not that flat at 700mtrs assent
there are options on cafe stops optional hence, the route goes viaThe Barn at the Hollies farm shop ( 25 miles) Or Tilly’s at 34 miles.
This is an easy ride if I meet CER at Delamere station of course and hence, Tilly"s is the cafe stop for an easy day. In fact this route is divided into thirds ; Delamere at 15 miles, then Tilly’s after 16 more & home is 12. However, as a normal ride from home then the BARN IS MY CAFE AND A HARDER RIDE

There is a degree of cover from NW wind , once past Delamere cafe, as the route heads south and mostly on the east side of the Samdstone ridge. The route then passes from Bunbary behind Peckforton ridge line and Narthill.

    CALCULATE CALORIES

    About the Calorie Calculator

Our Calorie Calculator estimates how many Calories you will burn using Metabolic Equivalent (MET) values from Compendium of Physical Activities. The Compendium idenitifes the relative energy cost of undertaking various activities compared with doing nothing. We then combine this with your weight and the estimated duration of the activity, taking into account the length of the route and the hills involved, to estimate the total Calories burned.

When selecting an Activity setting, select the speed you would normally travel at on flat ground.

Please remember, the estimated number of Calories is just a guide and the actual number of Calories burned may vary depending on other factors such as weather and terrain.
