    We worden vanaf ons appartement afgezet bij het beginpunt van de Schluchtensteig in Stühlingen, bij de katholieke kerk. Dat is 13 minuten rijden.

    Op 4 km bij het treinstation van Weizen zijn toiletten en een overdekte rustplaats. Korte rustpauze. Hier begint het eerste echte klim, die eindigt in een dal bij JP.

    Op 8,3 km staat JP bij de (wandel)parking met bankjes. Er is daar ook een hotel maar het restaurant is op maandagen gesloten. Koffie/thee en iets lekkers van de bakker. We kunnen het best dan al ons brood smeren en meenemen wat want volgende etappe is het 'woest' want daarna begint de Wutachschlücht en dit is één van de mooiste gedeeltes van de route

    Op 12,7 km staat JP op de (wandel)parkeerplaats met zitbank met koffie en thee.

    Hierna hebben we nog 1 etappe naar het ophaalpunt in Blumberg, 6,1 km maar wel de zwaarste etappe, gaat flink steil omhoog en op 16,7 km na 4,1 km zwoegen bereiken we het hoogste punt met schuilhut. Even uitpuffen en van het uitzicht genieten.
