Olivers Army - Coast And Country

Starting from Cleethorpes railway station down on to the prom. Head south along Cleethorpes front on the road. By the Lifeboat station come off the road by going left along the prom on the cycle track. At the end of the prom just before the leisure centre go left behind the leisure centre with the beach to your left. Follow the shared pedestrian/cycle path to the very end where you will go left to the car park. Exit the car park, turn left onto the holiday camp. Follow the tarmac road to the end, turn left past the yacht club on the left. Turn right and follow the track keeping the lakes to the left. Follow this off-road track to the end turn right onto another off-road track to the road turn left then turn right immediately. Follow the tarmac road. Should you wish turn left to the Crown and Anchor pub otherwise continue along the country road to Tetney. Should you wish you may turn off the route to the Only Food and Sauces Cafe. Continue along the Plot a Route course. There are other cafes and pubs along the route should you wish.
The roads are mostly quiet country lanes with some easily managed hills. It is a pleasant route passing through some lovely Lincolnshire country villages as well as an off-road country ride so either MTB's or Hybrids are recommended.
