    Researchers have developed an open source simulation software called "Hussar" that allows users with no design experience to perform accurate 3D simulations of the propagation of multiple laser pulses. "Once we have defined the parameters of the input pulse, such as pulse energy, duration, and spatial beam profile, the software is able to search for optimal design values such as nonlinear crystal thickness, beam size, waist position, and so on," the simulation software developer said.
