Leave the Rugby club and turn left onto Philips Pk Rd. Turn right onto Old Hall Lane and continue to left turn at Copper La. Follow road to Hurst Woods, enter on right and keep right for the Hurst Woods 'Roller Coaster'. Join the Irwell trail. Turn left and keep on trail. Just before wobbly Mway bridge, sharp left and follow road back to Philips Pk.
