About the Calorie Calculator
Our Calorie Calculator estimates how many Calories you will burn using Metabolic Equivalent (MET) values from Compendium of Physical Activities. The Compendium idenitifes the relative energy cost of undertaking various activities compared with doing nothing. We then combine this with your weight and the estimated duration of the activity, taking into account the length of the route and the hills involved, to estimate the total Calories burned.

Start at the baseball fields where it says "B". This route is very scenic, nearly all of the roads are very lightly travelled by cars, but on a good day you'll see a lot of cyclists. This is horse country. Farm Country. It's my favorite route as well as the Tour de Allentown which is a longer variation. There's 2 good rest stops. General Store in Clarksburg and Clayton park with the luxuary porta-john. There's mountain biking in Clayton park, but who cares? You're going to pass Screaming Dog brewery on Emily's Hill Road, it's a beautiful farm. I don't drink while cycling, but it looks like a nice place. Be careful in assunpunk reservation, if you make a wrong turn you'll end up on a gravel road that has no end and you'll never escape. Ever. Roosevelt is a historic town. It was a "New Deal" art commune. There's a big head of Roosevelt next to the elementary school. Google for more info.
