    Diese Tour um die Schmalwassertalsperre startet an der Eisbrunnenquelle im Dietharzer Grund verlängerte Oberhofer Straße. Hinter der Schrankenanlage führt der Weg etwa 900 m bergauf. Am Stauwärterhaus vorbei erreicht man rechts den Rastplatz Stummelberg mit Schutzhütte und Aussicht auf Talsperre und Inselsberg. 3 Km weiter kommt man an eine Wegekreuzung mit Umgebungskarte zur Orientierung. Wir nutzen weiter die Asphaltstraße und erreichen nach kurzer Zeit der Rastplatz Meister-Eckhart-Blick. Nach weiteren 15 Minuten bergab kommen wir an der Schutzhütte Röllchen an. Wer möchte kann hier Rast machen oder einen Abstecher in die Röllchen Schlucht. Wir gehen wieder zurück zum Einlauf der Talsperre halten uns dabei rechts und folgen der Schotterstraße. Das kleine Walsbachtal kommt nach etwa 3,5 Km in Sicht, nach weiteren 2 Km kommt die Schutzhütte "Salweidewand" in Sicht. Von hier aus hat man einen wunderbaren Ausblick auf die Talsperre und die Staumauer. Zum Parkplatz gelangen wir nach etwa 4 Km.
