    The route follows established, paved paths before crossing the busy A921 to follow a minor road.
    A footpath is followed through woods, past Mount Laura Tower, to Chapel.
    Return along a minor road, past Otterston Castle, to return to start of route along a narrow pavement beside the busy A921.
    The route may be muddy through the woods.
