Amendments as for 2, but using slightly fiddly Jackdaw Close trails through MMNR (official Mill Meadows Trail, hopefully marked somehow, not Other Paths) instead of roadwalking on GreensFm Rd looks dull and not much better than orig route on A road
Goes into Bill H St along Chantry Wy. Pebbledash No thr Rd, quieter. Miss middle of high st but by no means all.

    Owner? Bas council?
Using one of main trails, but not the PRoW
    Crossing most of SSSI section
V rough guess as trails not on OSM or OS.

First Road walking section in Basildon looks simple but in GSV was along ring roads that have no ped paths and no ped crossing or even dropped kerbs at roundabouts
    Cut through town centre instead.

Slightly shorter way through Noak Bridge park, less inside but smoother line and if take wrong path should be pretty obv to fix, mistake would probably be to stay on edge of park instead of slightly cutting through. shrug

Same way N over fields to G Bursted. Good on Strava

Avoid long stretch on A129 beside Mill Mdw NR. Instead Greens Farm Lane then across MM from E to N.

    CALCULATE CALORIES

    About the Calorie Calculator

Our Calorie Calculator estimates how many Calories you will burn using Metabolic Equivalent (MET) values from Compendium of Physical Activities. The Compendium idenitifes the relative energy cost of undertaking various activities compared with doing nothing. We then combine this with your weight and the estimated duration of the activity, taking into account the length of the route and the hills involved, to estimate the total Calories burned.

When selecting an Activity setting, select the speed you would normally travel at on flat ground.

Please remember, the estimated number of Calories is just a guide and the actual number of Calories burned may vary depending on other factors such as weather and terrain.
