    SlowWays.
    Amendment to https://beta.slowways.org/Route/Orpswa/2220
Main change is last mile from Stone Cross Road to Swanley Station. This version also uses public footpaths and is simpler, shorter and more "off road". OrpSwa One goes across the railway and through land which is now a gravel pit. One reviewer thinks that path is closed, another describes an alternative that doesn't match up with the OS footpath.
Tricky field/wood footpaths where OSM and OS don't match, possibly diversions, poss overgrown/unused.
    a) Griffs Wood after 3k
    b) Bleak House Farm
    c) tracks just above/before ?Dalton Hill
Bromley Council website is currently under reconstruction and it's not possible to find info about current footpath diversions or even about the Definitive Map of Rights of Way on their new website.
Same website problem also means Chelsfield Circular Walk is also unavailable. does it really match this? Yes, so far....
with the small tweak as ref by reviewer
    ...
This fits SlowWay criteria - more direct and off road, makes use of pre-made routes/signage. Side issue is whether Bromley Council will still be supporting the route with signage following privatisation of Countryside Services?

    further changes
leaving Orpington Station is a bit f'd up

    CALCULATE CALORIES

    About the Calorie Calculator

Our Calorie Calculator estimates how many Calories you will burn using Metabolic Equivalent (MET) values from Compendium of Physical Activities. The Compendium idenitifes the relative energy cost of undertaking various activities compared with doing nothing. We then combine this with your weight and the estimated duration of the activity, taking into account the length of the route and the hills involved, to estimate the total Calories burned.

When selecting an Activity setting, select the speed you would normally travel at on flat ground.

Please remember, the estimated number of Calories is just a guide and the actual number of Calories burned may vary depending on other factors such as weather and terrain.
