Grouse Chalet Via St Georges And Mountain Hwy

From Cleveland Dam head up Nancy Greene Way to the Grouse Grind entrance gate.
Through gate continue east on the Baden Powell up a steep hill for 15 minutes.
Continue following the BP markers all the way to Mosquito Creek.
Immediately after crossing the big bridge over Mosquito Creek go sharp left.
Continue following the "BP" trail markers (be careful to make another left a couple of minutes past the water tank) for another 10-20 minutes until you come to a small bench with a view.
Go left onto St. George's trail immediately behind the bench, keeping your eyes open for the orange markers as the trail can be a little difficult to follow in a couple of places.
At to the top of St. George's trail is a good gravel road, this is Mountain Highway - Turn left onto it.
In 2-3 minutes you will come to the 6th switchback. Instead of taking the switchback, take about 5 steps following the road off the end of switchback and turn sharp right up Peer Gynt trail that starts here. Don't go straight along the overgrown road.
Follow the orange diamond markers as the trail makes its way mostly uphill. In ~15 minutes you will, once again, come out at Mountain Highway.
Go left on Mountain Highway and follow it as it winds its way along the west side of Mt. Fromme.
After 10-20 minutes, you/ll see a large Private Road sign mounted on a tree on the right-hand side of the road.
You will encounter 4 switchbacks - Follow them up as you wind your way under the Blue Chair. Keep going until you run out of switchbacks.
After the 4th switchback, the road straightens somewhat, taking you under Green Chair (at top of the 'Cut'), finally ending at Grouse Mountain Chalet.
Take the Gondola ($15) or BCMC trail down, then run down Nancy Green way back to Cleveland Dam.
