Rode to The Jolly Farmer at Leavening for the picnic with Jose via Warthill, Upper Helmsley, Buttercrambe, Skirpenbeck, Bugthorpe and Uncleby. after having an enjoyable picnic with social distanced fellow Wednesday Wheelers. Jose and I headed off towards Burythorpe with the aim of heading to Castle Howard, via Malton and Coneythorpe. We met up with Bryan Stanton, John Walker and Robin who also were heading to Castle Howard, so we accompanied them. After having a drink and possibly a piece of cake. We headed off again. When we reached the turn off for Bulmer. Robin and I said our goodbyes and headed off for Robin's home, via Bulmer, Sheriff Hutton, Farlington, Stillington, Easingwold and Alne. I said cheerio to Robin at his turnoff and headed across Aldwark Bridge and on to Whixley, Cattal, Tockwith, Long Marston, both the Askhams and home. Arriving at 18.45.
