Our Calorie Calculator estimates how many Calories you will burn using Metabolic Equivalent (MET) values from Compendium of Physical Activities. The Compendium idenitifes the relative energy cost of undertaking various activities compared with doing nothing. We then combine this with your weight and the estimated duration of the activity, taking into account the length of the route and the hills involved, to estimate the total Calories burned.
When selecting an Activity setting, select the speed you would normally travel at on flat ground.
Please remember, the estimated number of Calories is just a guide and the actual number of Calories burned may vary depending on other factors such as weather and terrain.

Peter Sharman Really good ride today. Hopefully my legs start getting a bit stronger so the don't dessert me on the way home. Thanks to Jamie for the loan of a tube on my second puncture and sorry for those who had to wait. Really like this route, as it always makes for a fast ride, but Brian might be right in looking to avoid that road. Good to start getting back out with the group on the club rides, it's slowly giving me the motivation to get my ass in gear.

Brian Ruggles A rearly nice route and great value for money cafe stop with plenty of fresh cakes on offer, with friendly and helpful staff. The only issue was the loop that is between, I think, Standalone Warren and Bedford Road. Is it possible we could loose this loop and just continue along Standalone Warren as the short stretch of the loop road had more pot holes than the rest of the other ride.

Another big medium group;
Perfect weather;
Boxer Pete was with us, strong jaw but weak tyres - 2 punctures on his fast downhill machine;
Moggerhanger cafe - quick service, great selection of cakes, new location, top marks;
Route - better than last week so need a better scoring system!
I think we had two new riders Martin and Max - both did well.
Whoever booked the weather - thanks
