Popular Routes
Forgot to mention that I also imported the same file to RWGPS and all turns and symbols appeared correct there.
Regards.
We've received the file you sent us Marcos, thanks. We've managed to recreate the problem you had uploading it, so we ll look into it and report back. Our import process won't exactly recreate a downloaded route though I'm afraid, as we store routes on our servers in a completley different format. Also, at present it doesn't support importing symbols.
We've found the problem that caused the upload to fail and have put in a fix, so it should be working OK now. There were some hidden characters in some of the coursepoint notes, that we weren't detecting.
Hi,
Tks but turns are not coming correct.
If I upolad one same file to RWGPS all turns turn correctly including the icon.
Funny though because it used to work in the past. I had even create a compatible chart back than.
Those Garmin codes come from the ANTSDKFitSDK.

We don't currently import turn arrows from TCX files - our turn arrows are generated from the shape of the imported route. If you want to change any of the turn arrows though, you can do this in the Directions panel in the route planner (click on the directions to edit them).
well
Hi Sir,
I am using Garmin Edge 1030. I know the recommended file format (.fit) for Garmin 800, 1000, 1030. Just wondering if I want to use "GPX" , which gpx type is better use "track" or "route" specially in the field (terrain, hill, mountain) ? Thanks...
GPX Track files include all the coordinates that make up the route, whereas GPX Route files will only include coordinates for the locations where there are directions, so it is generally better to use GPX Track if you want the route to exactly match what you plotted.
Trying to import track to Garmin Fenix 6.
Watch calculates several minutes. Then shows error message: There are no roads on the map for track.
How can I make this work?
I think you have thewatch configured for Use map routing and that can take forever if you have. Configure activity (run or hike) settings, Routing, Courses = Follow course.
