    RUNNING ROUTE: STRAND CAMPUS
    BRIEF: Meet at Somerset House and start running down towards Waterloo Bridge, then right along Victoria Embankment.
    Continue all the way down to Westminster Bridge and view the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben.
    The Houses of Parliament is where the two Houses of the Parliament of the United Kingdom (the House of Lords and the House of Commons) conduct their sittings. The Gunpowder Plot is the name given to the conspiracy for Guy Fawkes to blow up the Houses of Parliament on 5 November 1605.
    Run right along Great George street and through St. James' Park along the lake to Spur Road.
    From here you can view Buckingham Palace, the Queen's official and main royal London home. It has been the official London residence of Britain's monarchy since 1837. Queen Victoria was the first monarch to live there.
    Run back through St. James' Park along the lake.
    Exit the park to run along The Mall towards the roundabout, and run all the way along the strand back towards Somerset House
