    Triangular starting 10 a.m. from Peacehaven Centenary park CP (signposted "The Big Park" from main coast road A259), with The Hope Inn PH for lunch. Rolling downland, river / quayside, then clifftop and undercliff.

    A Mid Sussex Ramblers 50th Anniversary walk, repeating a walk last done on 24/2/2022 (and hopefully this time without 40 mph headwinds and horizontal hail).
    - 4 stiles a.m. all before Piddinghoe - NB take care on last of these with a step missing and the other loose.
    - Take care on narrow descent path to Piddinghoe from chicken wire trip hazard on the ground, and then crossing the road to the village by the river.
    - See website ntslf.org/tides/tidepred?port=Newhaven to check High tide time and height, and fallback is to bypass around back of St John's church if the river edge there is flooded.
    - Beware stepping out onto shared use cycle path when joining Newhaven ring road.
    - Take care descending steep steps cut into cliff edge just after Peacehaven Heights to get to undercliff path.
