    Grade: Moderate -By virtue of, an all-day walk, but achievable within 4 hours.
    (Classed as Moderate for 'new open moorland walkers' )

    The walk has been assessed with many options for escape and or, alternative easier routes should the need arise. There is the potential to extend the route should all of the group be fit and prepared for the additional 3 miles approx.

    A Mixture of open moorland, tracks, and disused rail line, with liner features to follow

    (There will be some bog hopping, there is one small Brook/river to cross via "bridge".
    Suitable Footwear and Clothing for the day - stout footwear, not wellingtons. waterproof and layers.
    Be sure to hydrate and pack lunch and snacks along the route.

    Suggested Parking: There is off-street parking in Princetown Village and a Car Park @ £5.00/day.
    There are local public conveniences in the car park at the start - there is a charge

    The village has a small convenience shop, which sells a few provisions, and there are two cafes and public houses for the after walk wind down.
