You seem to be mixing up the Mobile App with the app for mobiles RoutePilot which weas in development before Visorando took over .....

It would be useful to learn what is planned for plotaroute from Visorando. I use it a lot and am keen to understand how they intend to take it forward.
The previous owner announced a roam free companion in August last year that is just what the app needs so I tried to volunteer for the beta testing earlier this year. I did get feedback from Visorando but did not really understand the response other than there was no beta trial anymore. It would have been a great addition to the functionality of plotaroute.
My first use of the App (if it is an App rather than just a link on Home Screen)? Like Mike's post I couldn't see how to get my location working and it doesn't appear as an App on my Apps list, or under location services as other apps do so not sure how to fix. Shame as looks a really useful tool for planning walks and rides.
I tried out the mobile app and navigate mode, and it could never see my position even though on any other map program, it would show up. So not sure if I'm doing something wrong or there's a special place for me to open location services. Any advice?

There is no update for instance. You can use the mobile app awithout being a beta testing user.
Just install te app as recommended on this link.
