PS If you were able to include forum post 3056 at the same time, that would be great (assuming you agree with the proposal.) Printouts of the same route (2015037) show why I feel this would be a good idea.

Thanks Martyn. The 60 character limit on photo captions was probably set to ensure that it displays correctly on all screen sizes, including mobile devices. I think we may be able to help with the other two issues, but will need to investigate.

Captions truncate in the mobile view even when under 60 characters.
I count 45 characters before truncation for the photo of George Marshall (direction point 7) in the route I've been referenceing.

Hi Martyn - the caption position bug has been fixed and you should also now see any symbols or labels before the directions text (they do work better in this position).

Brilliant! I've just tested this and it looks great... a small but very worthwhile improvement.
Tomorrow, a friend is testing the directions of the route in question after which I plan to publish its existance more widely... the timeing is perfect.
