It looks like the search and comment options are missing from the Feature Request page on the mobile site (they're available on the desktop site), so we'll look at adding them.
Browswer serach for "113", then "Start Discussion" to add your specific comments. :)
PS How do I get to and open Feature Request 113 to read it? The link takes me to a screen with loads of requests and no search. Once I eventually locate 113, I can vote... but not open it to see or add to the details (e.g., by adding my examples below.)
I have another example of a collection where it would make better sense if the colours were selectable. It's essentially a spine (plotted as four separare routes) with a number of optional deviations (each plotted as a separate route.) At the moment it looks like a bag of licorice all sorts. It would be much more intelligible if the 4 spine sections could be selected to show in one colour with all the deviations in another. The current 'rainbow random' is a useful default starting point but it would be good to have the freedom to subsequently select colours to match the logic of the collection.
Voted!
I have a Collection for an upcoming cycling tour in Ireland. See Ireland 2022 Collection
Days 4 to 7 are all variations of green, and a bit hard to differentate.
Regards,
Mark
I can see the issue Martyn. At present the colours of the lines are automatcially worked out to evenly distribute them across the visual spectrum, so that there is maximum differentation between them. But I can understand that there are times when you want to choose a specific colour for each route. We do already have this on our Feature Requests list (number 113) but it doesn't have any votes yet, so please add your vote for this.
I second that! Collections is a stand-out feature of PR vs other apps, and being able to just define the colours would be a really useful addition.
It would be useful to be able to select the colour of each route when viewing a collection. I've just plotted a number of routes which are way marked in specific colours. It is very confusing and rather ridiculous to have the 'red route' displayed in green, and the 'blue route' in yellow... but I can't see any way to select the line colours for myself.
