I have really liked the label feature and use it regularly. The latest rev's however do not want to play well with my Lenovo Thinkpad laptop running windows 10 Enterprise - Vers 1703, using the CHROME Browser V70.0.3538.110 32 bit. The problems are the symbols flash rapidly and will not place on the map. I have identical problems on my chromebook which is running Chrome OS : 70.0.3538.110 Tried to run in the Explorer 11 but plotaroute would not display correctly at all. This only been since the latest Nov 8 upgrade. Thanks!
Additional INFO on my POst about symbols. This ONLY Happens when I am using a symbol. I can use just labels, no symbol and it seems to work ok.
Thanks!
Scott
Hi Scott - it's working OK for me here. Can you try clearing your browser's cache to see if this helps?
John
Hi John,
Thank you for replying to me. I tried clearing my browser ( Chrome ) cache and it still does exactly the same thing. When I go to place a symbol on a map it flickers and will not place it on the map. Very Strange. Any other settings I should look at? Oh and by the way, I am not a computer engineer but I am an Industrial controls engineer responsible for interfacing to my companies clients and I found out the hard way a few years ago that the response of "works fine for me" just pisses off the customer. ( nearly lost my job over that one ). Your response did not bother me but, as someone who has been down that road, I might suggest the path of feigned over concern and acknowledge that every system is unique and may have unique issues. No charge for that free advise! ( worth what it was paid for ) JUST TELL ME HOW MAKE THIS THING WORK RIGHT ON MY MACHINE. ( That was the response I got some many years ago ) Thank you John and I truly do like and enjoy using this product. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the advice Scott! I can understand your frustration. The problem is though, unless I can reproduce the problem here it's virtually impossible for me to work out what is causing it, I'm just stabbing in the dark. We haven't recieved any other reports of this issue either, so there is no more information to go on from other users. I'm wondering if it could be an issue with your mouse settings. Perhaps try tweaking these to see if that helps or try a different mouse. You could also try it with Firefox. Sorry I can't be more help, but unless I can trace the problem by reproducing it its going to be impossible to fix.
John
HI John,
Thanks for the advice. I downloaded firefox and it DOES work with firefox. Both of my machines use logitech wireless mice so that might be an issue....will experiement. Thanks Again!
