Bruce Trail - Iroquoia Club

The Bruce Trail Conservancy's mission:
PRESERVING A RIBBON OF WILDERNESS, FOR EVERYONE, FOREVER.

The STEELTOWN STOMP event hike is a challenging 20 km hike climbing over 2000 steps of seven recreation stairs along the Niagara Escarpment as it runs through Hamilton, Ontario.

The Bruce Trails clubs, Niagara and Iroquoia, collaborate in staging the STEELTOWN STOMP each year in the early Fall to raise awareness and encourage participation in the BTC's mission. Successful completion of the hike is rewarded with the STEELTOWN STOMP badge.
