The "Discover the River Ver Project" by the Ver Valley Society created a series of short walks following the River Ver and exploring the surrounding countryside. The leaflets can all be found on this page: http://www.riverver.co.uk/walks/ We have been walking the routes, creating downloadable GPS maps and writing up the walks from a child's point of view.
