Today we're bringing you news of changes to the way that routes are shared on plotaroute.com. We're excited to unveil our new Route Information Page which will now be the primary destination page for any routes that are shared from the site.

In addition to incorporating a fully interactive route map, with full-screen, print, sharing and download options, the new page provides a central place for people to share and find out further information about a route.

All the key stats for the route are readily available on this new page, including view stats indicating the route's popularity, and you can also rate routes yourself on this page by giving them a star rating.

We'll also flag up other nearby routes that are similar and you can quickly search for routes yourself using the search box at the top of the page.

Finally, the 'Edit in Route Planner' button means that you are just one click away from using the full suite of route editing features offered by the route planner to edit the route.
