Thanks a lot - you saved my day!

I indeed missed the 3rd step (click on the map again). Actually I did dozens of replottings in the past and don't recall I had to click on the map again after marking the start and the end on the section. Not sure if the functionality on plotaroute.com has changed meanwhile or perhaps my sections in the past were too short (most probable). Anyway it works now. Thank you very much for your support!

Thanks for bringing this up.
I just tested it and everything works fine on my end.

I tried to reproduce the issue and I think I know what happened:
When you click on "replot section", the first thing you need to do, is to click on the route twice. The first click is where the section begins (green circle) and the second click is where the section ends (red circle).
At this point, if you click on the "confirm" button, you will delete the section and a straight line will join the places where you set your red and green circles.
To replot a section, once you have set your circles, you need to click on the map again, as if you had just placed the last point where the green circle is and you do that until your route reaches the red circle.
Now you can confirm and the replotted route appears.

My Autoplot is enabled (on foot) and it basically works while plotting a new track or extending (continue plotting) an existing track.
However, when I try to replot a section on an existing track, it doesn't work - both points are connected with a straigh line. Enabling or disabling "Prefer Off-road" doesn't change anything.
It always worked fine in the past.
What is wrong there?
