    Hi Stephen,

I see how this is an issue.
Other users have also asked for changes to Plotaroute to be better suited for motorbikes.
I'll make sure to bring this up with the devs.

    Best regards,
    Julien

Hi Julien, it is OK at the moment but has given me that message a few times. On another note if that is OK on the same thread, I seem to have sorted everything out so it does what I want it to but the only minor point is the distance before a turn when the voice command tells you what to do. I have set it for what appears to be the maximum (100 yards) but coming up to a turn on a motorbike doing 60mph that isn't quite enough warning. Would it be possible to increase this to perhaps 1/4 (440 yds) of a mile?

    Hi Stephen,

Sorry for taking some time to get back to you. I was at the Birmingham Outdoor Expo and am slowly catching up on the forum now.

    Is this issue still occurring?

If so, feel free to use the Contact Us form and we'll get to the bottom of it.

    Best regards,

    Julien

Hi Julien. I signed up to Premium and haven't really had the chance to play with it properly yet but today it keeps saying that it can't locate me. I have checked that my location service is on (it is), logged out and back in to my account and switched my phone off and back on but still no better. Everything was OK yesterday and I am not aware of making any changes which would have resulted in me causing the problem. Could you let me know what I need to do to get back please?

    Hi Stephen,

I can confirm what Mark said: please feel free to give Premium a try and if it doesn't work out, use the "Help > Contact Us" form to ask for a refund.

    Best regards,

    Julien

    Stephen,

Probably the best thing to do is get Premium and try it, if it can't work for you, get a refund. This has been proposed by Plotaroute for other issues.

Email them and ask the question to "Julien Plotaroute" who is also looking after the Forum questions and may reply here, anyway.

Individual situations are often unique, so better that way than a generic sample.

Hi, I see from a previous post that audio prompts is no longer being worked on so if I go Premium will I be able to get audio tuen directions when using the mobile app?  If so, is there any way of listening to a short sample clip, I tried one app and the audio prompts for turning right at a roundabout (clockwise direction, UK left hand side of the road) started with something like "turn slightly left..." This is not a lot of use when riding a motorbike and not always being able to look at the maps and wanting to rely on audio prompts. If the audio prompts are what I need I am happy to go Premium, if not, I will stay with just maps and don't need the expense of upgrading to Premium.

If you get a Garmin, the PR Premium can be linked direct so transferring routes is as easy as clicking a "star" (once all set up).

Google Maps can work but it's a faff to get your plotted routes to it.

    Horses for courses.

Thanks will give it a go

Realised today that Google Maps has offline maps and cycle routes and audio navigation - only thing missing is inexplicable desire to not support GPX - but you support KML export already. Thinking that maybe my mobile app of choice

    Hi Hiro,

Visorando doesn't offer audio prompts and as of now, there are no plans to add them in the foreseeable future.

Going Premium on Plotaroute does offer Voice Navigation on the web app, though it is a beta feature that is not being worked on any longer.

Please feel free to go Premium, try out the advantages on Plotaroute and also link your account to Visorando to see the Premium features you'll get there.

This way you can also test things on your phone and watch.

If after a couple of days the test isn't satisfying, get in touch with me on the support (Help>Contact Us) and I'll refund your purchase.

    Best regards,

    Julien

hi - just came across this app and see it has been acquired by Visorando recently. Looking to do some bike rides with my iphone as a satnav mounted on my bike handle. Have the web app installed and Visorando. If I like to listen to music and don't mind audio prompts regarding turns I need to do then my best bet is .... buy plotaroute premium?

    Doesn't Visorando have audio prompts?

I do also have a Garmin Forerunner 955 so thinking maybe loading routes on both the phone and watch and then taking audio prompts from the watch , though i listed to audio tracks from my phone, so not sure if I can get that to work....

Also mulling getting an Edge ...
