Absolutely, import your route into Strava's route planning tool and you'll get the elevations from their crowd sourced digital elevation model (DEM). Don't try to create routes with Strava from scratch as their toolkit $uck$ b@ll$. For reference, contrast popular routing programs elevation model for the flat bridge across the Royal Gorge in Colorado USA.

Recenlty I plotted a route I had taken on a relatively flat rail trail. When viewing the elevation profile, I noticed an anomaly: It showed a 150-foot descent and subsequent ascent within a 1/4 mile distance. When I checked the profile against the actual mileage, this corrsponded with my crossing a former railroad trestle that is very high.

Obviously the map algorithm was giving me the ground elevation at that point, not the actual height of the trestle. My actual route was virtually flat: no 150-foot descent and ascent.  Is there any way I can edit the map to compensate for that?
