Climb categories not much use?FORUMS HOME SEARCH FORUMS

I am fairly new to PR. I have only just noticed the Climb Category concept, and thought I might find it useful. But having looked into it a bit, it seems the categories are based on multiplying the average gradient by the length (measure horizontally, I presume). Which gives you a figure representing height gain. Why not just look at height gain?

I think what I might find more useful is height gain x gradient. Brutal hills are steep and high.
