Popular Routes
Hi Bev Evans,
Indeed you can't download maps in the mobile version of Plotaroute. The maps you can see on your screen have been saved in the cache of your mobile device, that's why they are displayed. If you want to downlaod maps, you can try the mobile app Visorando.
Kind regards,
Helene
Quadlock ... best there is!
Yes I think your right, I'm using an old phone, and I think what I'm seeing is when I load the map at home from the WiFi the map is held in the phones memory. But I doubt the memory woul hold a 50 mile route. I've got a couple of wotkrounds I can hot spot from my in use phone or install the SIM in the old phone. Why not use my in use phone you may ask, it's because I've got the Quadlock handle bar mounty for the old phone.
... let us know!
I don't think so, but you can try and the let us now!
Hi newbie here, from the forum I can see that I can't use maps when I'm offline. However I have made up a short route and found that if I load it whilst online I can use it even when I've lost connection to the Internet. As I said its only a short route and I want to cycle much longer routes would it still work on a longer ride up to 5 hours.
