    It would be helpful to have a weighting facter so that auto-plotting with "prefer off-road" enabled doesn't select a many-mile off-road loop when quarter of a mile of road is an option. Perhaps a simple number whereby the off-road alternative is only taken only if it's less distance than that facter times the most direct option.
