Audio prompts for turns on planned routesFORUMS HOME SEARCH FORUMS

I have exactly the opposite problem.  I create routes in Plotaroute which I then send to my Garmin Fenix 7.  But nothing I can do, other than turning my phone's volume down to mute, in which case I cannot listen to my audiobook, will stop my phone giving audio instructions every turn.

All my audio prompts are set to OFF in my watch and my settings in Plotaroute are below.  What am I doing wrong?

this functionality is already available in the app => open the route > chose 'navigate route'. Then tap on the settings button (in the top right-hand corner). Here, select 'yes' in 'Voice navigation'

I use Plotaroute for planning set distance walking routes and it is fantastic but when I have the route navigation on it is a pain having to constantly check the map on my mobile screen to see when I should be making a turn.
Is it possible to add verbal navigation turn prompts on a planned route?  This way I cna plan the route and resign my mobile to a pocket while I enjoy the surroundings and concentrate on my walk.
