The route planner can import one track. If there are several tracks in your gpx file, the route planner won't understand it . There can be only one point of departure and one point of arrival.

You need a gpx file per track.

The official South Downs Way GPX from the National Trails website contains five trk elements. Uploading it to PAR makes a mess, it combines them all into one track complete with 100km-long straight lines connecting them together:

Would be nice to have a better way to deal with this than manually editing the GPX file in Notepad.
