Maps are based on OSM data, which is opensource. See How To Correct Map Errors

I use plotaroute keeping to public footpaths using the Trails map, only to find some to be totally innaccesible and overgrown. I abandoned  a recent circular walk due to this. Reversed  it to the circular turning point, that was only accessible by crossing the  river totally Impassable in trainers. Had we got that far we couldn't have crossed at that point anyway - concrete path with the river running over it. It's imperative you recce a plotted walk before publishing it.

There should be an option to 'delete' a path from the map for said reason!

In Plotaroute, autorouting is based on the OSM (Open Street Map) even if you are viewing OS (Ordance Survey) mapping. However, you can plot manually by selecting AUTO-PLOT OFF.

So, select the OS map, and if ON FOOT doesn't track the paths you want, select OFF and click away.

On the normal plot a route map some of the public footpaths on my route are not showing, but I can see them when I view in OS maps. Is there anyway of plotting on the OS map or altering my route when viewing on OS map

    Thanks in advance
