Yes, Plotaroute isn't geared up for that type of route planning - it's mainly aimed at planning leisure pursuits, like walks, runs and cycle rides. I recommend Googling "travelling saleman route planner".

I think you are expecting too much from Plotaroute. There are specialist applications to calculate the shortest route in this situation (delivery applications, for instance).

I have a bunch of leaflets to deliver to hundreds of addresses, and I want to plot the most efficient way to cover all the addresses in the least amount of time. Is it possible to import addresses in bulk from an Excel spreadsheet?

If there are "too many to plot them all individually", what are you trying to do? What do you mean by "plot a route for leaflet distribution"?

You can walk the route and record your track, but I assume you want to plan your route ...... 

I am planning on standing for election to my local council in May. My electoral ward has 2375 addresses in it, too many to plot them all individually. How do I plot a route for leaflet distribution, with the aid of a couple of volunteers?
