Route Colour Download to JPGFORUMS HOME SEARCH FORUMS

In My Settings I have my preferred route colour set to a strong red. But when I download to create a JPG copy of the map, the route colour defaults to a rather insipid blue. Is there any way of ensuring that the JPG download version is the same colour as the colour selected in My Settings.

Hi Frank - sorry, it's not currently possible to change the colour of the route when downloading a route as an image, but is it on out list to add this. We'll  try to move it further up the list!

This issue has been fixed now - when you download a route as an image it will now use the colour selected on your My Settings page.

We have a walk planned of 3, 6 or 9 miles. We would like to allocate a colour to each of them and had been hoping to do this via a map each. However, as the route colour is set by the account holder's preferences do we need to set up three accounts, each with a separate colour?

It depends on what you want to do :

• you want to share the routes by the link : indeed you have to create 3 accounts to have 3 different colours.
• if you want to print the routes, you can just change the colour in your settings after printing or downloading pdf file, route by route

If it's for viewing only, then you could use a collection if I understand your request.

With a collection (in one account) you can chose to show one or many routes at the same time. You can also change color for each of them.
