Thank you everyone
Well done!
Should be possible now by osm map update. The trailnetwork was not connected to the main osm road network. So entrance added.
The Plotaroute engine (GH ?) does not route.
But both OSRM and Brouter engine do route.
Download the gpx as created by Cruiser_osrm eingine in next link.
Temporary available !

Thanks again mark for the reply. Thank you also for looking into this.
Shawn,
I had a look at that, thanks. Yes, you are in a OSM black hole. It would appear those paths are not in the database, so PR cannot auto-route them. Your only option is to use the manual "off" method, I'm afraid.I would be surprised if any route mapping app would be any different, given that nearly all use the same underlying OSM database.

Mark, thank you again for the reply. Since I can't autoplot on these trails I plotted the road next to them. All of the trails to the right cannot be plotted on automatically. This is just one example near me that I've not been able to autoplot.

Could you share the route, please? Save it to plotaroute and post a link .....
Mark, thanks for the reply. Sorry for such a long wait in my reply, for some reason I didn't get notifications of a response. Anyway, Yes I have the selection set to "on foot" with auto plot. As you mentioned, there is a path showing on the map but when I click on the path it places me at the closest road. I would prefer to use autoplot as the route I am trying to create is upwards of fifty miles and it would take a huge effort to manually route it.
And if the OSM (Open Street Map) data does not show a pathm it can't auto-route one there. The OSM data is very good, but not perfect.
What is your selection, here?Note: while you may view the OS map, and plot a route on it, the Auto-Plot engine uses the OSM data. To have absolute control, select OFF and plot exactly where you want.
I have just subscribed to the premium version because I could not use a public footpath using the basic mapping. I can now use OS maps which clearly show the footpath I want to use but autoplot walking ignores it and routes me by roads. The ability to create routes offroad was my prime reason for purchasing the premium version but it seems I may have wasted my money.
Am I missing something?
Good evening, I have searched for this topic but have been unable to find anything regarding it. I am trying to plot a trail run on some local trails but no matter how hard I try the line "snaps" to the nearest road avoiding the trails all together. Other trails in the vicinity I have no issue with. Causes? Suggestions?
