You need to tap on where it says "PLACE" - this will change the search from places to routes:

Toggle between Place and Route search

Hi, thanks, but the only search icon I see is up to the right on the map (in edit) and that one gives me a search box to search for POI on the map, not routes.

The only options I see are two menu options in the left menu (Find a Route, Browse routes), but those erase my background route.

    Hi Peter,

The steps to do this on the mobile route planner are as follows:

    • load the first route in the route planner

    • select Trace A Route from the toolbox (adds route to the background map)

    • tap the Search icon to display the search box

    • tap PLACE to toggle this to ROUTE

    • enter the name of the second route and select it from the list

Thanks for the other suggestion. It's a good idea but I think realistically we probably won't get chance to do that given the other things on the list.

After running a route, I often want to correct the route in plotaroute that I just ran.

Then I upload my activity file and leave it in the background (clear map or trace route). On pc I then goto search route and write the name of my saved route and load it on top, but I cant get that workflow to work on mobile. Anyone that know how to do it now?

Feature request: Best I think would be if I could load a file/route directly to background when another route is active.
