Hi John - thanks for this suggestion. Have you tried our Route Tags feature? This gives you the ability to only show routes with selected tags on your My Routes page. As it enables you to select those you want to see rather than those you don't, you would need to  add a "current" tag to all the routes you are currently interested in rather than an "archived" tag to those you don't want to see.

I use plotaroute to plan cycling routes on vacations away from home. After the vacation, I'm left with routes that I am unlikely to need again for a while, if ever, but which could be useful to other users.

It would be useful to be able to 'archive' routes so that they don't not appear on 'my routes' by default.

At the moment, i use the 'star' filter to limit my view, but reckon it be better to have an 'archive' bit, with filter to match.

Failing that, the gmail folder/label paradigm should work equally well on route lists.
