How do I... Find the App?FORUMS HOME SEARCH FORUMS

When I follow the instructions for installing the app it wants me to install Komoot.  I can't find the plotaroute app anywhere.

Any help appreciated.

It sounds like you might have clicked on an advert for Komoot. Go to https://www.plotaroute.com/mobile in your mobile browser and look for the Install button that you can see in step 3 in our mobile app instructions.

Once I create a route and want to share it on a web page, is there a way to lock it down so no one can edit it?

Only you can make changes to your own routes Michael - if someone else tries to edit one of your routes they would have to save it as a copy to their own account, so your route can't be changed by someone else. 

Thanks for the info.  I'm plotting four routes for an organized ride and don't want them to be changed.  You have been very helpful.  I love your site and am learing more and more each day how to use it more effectively.  Nice work!!
