The By Bike setting with "Avoid Unpaved" selected should give lower priority to major roads (Trunk and Primary). Do you have a specific example we can look at Brian? We may be able to tweaks the priorioties a bit if needed.

Thanks for the super speedy feedback. I have been using 'by bike' and I did have 'avoid unpaved' selected. Deselecting that seems to have fixed my problem. I'm not absolutely sure its still working as described in the help screen (which you do seem to have just changed?). I'll have a play around and report back.

Very interested to see the section at the bottom of the help screen on how to get the source mapping corrected. There are loads of small mapping errors on my local roads that I have just been working round. I'll have a go at submitting some updates.

Which Auto-Plot setting are you using Brian? We haven't changed any of the  "By Bike" settings recently, although we have tweaked the "By Road" setting. If you use "By Bike" and select "Avoid Unpaved" this setting will give lower priority to major roads.

Previously auto-routing between two points would select the shortest route. It now seems to prefer major roads, which as a cyclist I personally avoid like the plague. Upshot is I now end up plotting in small point increments to force the route along quiet roads. Has there been a routing algorithm change or I have I missed a new configurable feature? Please help this is driving me mad.
